1. Every time you use the range, we will wait for everyone to come and receive this brief. If you miss the brief, you will have to wait until a member of staff gets time to sign you in.
2. Follow the peg/target numbers in order.
3. No cross lane shooting, only shoot the target from where the string comes back to your peg only.
4. You must all look after each other, you are all acting as safety officers
5. Every person must have a whistle around their neck
6. A long blast on thewhistle means ceasefire, and 2 short blasts to carry on.
7. Only use Air rifles under 12ft Ibs
8. The muzzle must ALWAYS point to the floor or down range.
9. Do not hog the lanes.
10. NEVER cross the shooting line or go across any other black roped areas
11. Bottles & excess bags are to be left in the storage area.
12. If you carry or sling your gun around the course, the muzzle must point down at all times.
13. Remove your gun from the slip/box when at your peg, pointing down range towards the target at all times. Once you have shot the targets remove your magazine (if you have one) then dry fire (pointing down range) and return the gun to the slip/box whilst pointing down range and move away from the peg.
14. For recoiling rifles (springers) before moving from your peg, ensure the rifle is clear, by squeezing the trigger with the safety catch off whilst pointing down your lane.
15. Equipment must be kept in your lane to the side of you - not behind, make sure your muzzle end is pointing down range.
16. You must all look after each other, you are all acting as safety officers.
17. If a target becomes stuck, inform the office and a member of staff will attend as soon as they can.
18. You can shoot the targets, prone, standing, kneeling, sitting or off sticks but it must be from the peg position only
19. Pull up targets gently do not Yank them
20. You can vape but not smoke
21. Min age of 12 years
