RANGE SAFETY RULES
1. Always treat guns as if they are loaded.
2. Muzzle awareness – Ensure your gun is pointing down range only.
3. Stop shooting means just that. STOP until you are told the range is clear.
4. All persons are acting as a safety officer.
5. Do not wear air pods, you need to be able to hear range commands.
6. Air rifles must be sub 12ft Ibs, air pistols must be sub 6ft Ibs.
7. Ammo must be 6mm or less
8. Guns may only be loaded when sitting at your range.
9. Never shoot towards the range sidelines.
10. Only shoot at intended targets, NO fur, feather, signs or ribbons
11. Please read all signage.
12. Please inform a member of staff if there is a problem with a target.
13. Do not put any of your own targets on the range without permission.
14. All precharged cylinders must be in test date.
15. Under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 years
16. Safety glasses should be worn.
17. Personal Liability insurance is recommended.
18. Do not take up more than the 1 table you have paid for
19. Please make sure you leave the range tidy, put all used targets in the bin and do not
leave them out on the range.
20. Paper can be put in the bin all other litter to be taken away.
21. Please leave the range on time to allow the next range users down on time.

80 Yard
1. Do not walk out on range
2. Do not stand up and shoot on rifle lanes.
3. We have single table and 1 chair & Double for sharers/left handed people
4. Maximum of 2 people to 1 lane, with 1 gun
5. You can not use paper targets on this range
6. Put your stuff under the table or behind, Not on another tables and don’t block the walkway.
90 Yard
1. Paper Targets are to be put on target holders ONLY.
2. Put your stuff under the table or behind, Not on another table and don’t block the walkway.
3. Maximum of 2 people to 1 lane, with 1 gun, sit behind.
4. Rifle lanes on the 90yard range are colour coded.
5. Do not stand up and shoot at rifle lanes
6. 90 yard range - Procedure to move forward of the shooting line – (to put out paper targets)
a. Ring the bell
b. Make sure everyone's gun is empty, un cocked and shooters move away from their gun
c. Put the red flag in the range doorway
Pistol Ranges
1. Anyone shooting a pistol at the same time needs to pay. Maximum of 2 per lane
2. Put your stuff under the table or behind, Not on another table and don’t block the walkway.
3. Pistol Range: Sub 6ft Ib only. (pistols & airsoft)
4. Pistol Range: wind out to a sensible distance due to ricochet
