Air Rifle, Air Pistol, Airsoft & Archery Range Hire
We have three dedicated air rifle ranges with 24 lanes in total. Our 90 Yard Range offers both zeroing facilities and plinking targets, while our covered 60 and 80 Yard Ranges are designed for precision and recreational plinking at a variety of distances.
For air pistols and airsoft guns, we have three different pistol ranges with eight lanes in total. Our 17 and 25 Yard Pistol Ranges have wind-out paper target facilities as well as a selection of plinking targets. The 40 Yard Pistol Range offers a huge variety of targets and is particularly good fun with scoped air pistols and airsoft guns. We prefer biodegradable BBs when using airsoft guns.
Our covered shooting ranges give you a safe, purpose-built environment to practise with your own air rifle, air pistol or airsoft gun. While many people enjoy shooting at home, practising at different distances allows you to learn how your gun performs, improve your accuracy and develop your range judgement.
If you need to zero your air rifle, our 90 Yard Range has dedicated zeroing facilities, with distances available from 20 to 90 yards. Our 60 and 80 Yard Ranges are designed for plinking rather than zeroing.
Our Archery Range has four individual lanes, with two foam targets on each lane positioned at 16 and 26 yards. Lanes are not shared with other archers, giving you your own dedicated space for your booked session. Recurve and compound bows are welcome, but crossbows and hunting arrows are not permitted.
You do not need to be a member to use our airgun or archery ranges. All range hire is available on a pay-as-you-go basis, so there are no annual membership fees.
On your first visit, you will need to complete our safety induction. This includes watching our safety video followed by a tour of the ranges, so you are familiar with the facilities and range procedures before shooting. The remaining time in your session can then be spent on the range you have booked.
All range visits must be pre-booked. Please book your lane before travelling to us so that you know your chosen range and session are available.
Field Sport Airgun Range is located in Newbold, Coleorton, North West Leicestershire, close to the Leicestershire and Derbyshire border and easily accessible from across the East Midlands.
