Air Rifle Range Hire in the National Forest – Bring Your Own Equipment Looking for a safe, well-maintained place to shoot your air rifle, air pistol, or airsoft gun? Welcome to Field Sport Airgun Range, a purpose-built, self-managed shooting venue located in Newbold, Coleorton, North West Leicestershire. We offer airgun range hire, we do not have memberships, no club politics, just quality time on the range.

Our Ranges

• 80 Yard Covered Plinking Range • 90 Yard Zeroing Range (targets from 20–90 yards) • 40 Yard Pistol & Airsoft Range • Pistol Ranges • Woodland Course – 15 lanes, 30 targets (ideal for HFT/FT practice) • Archery Range Hire - Coming soon. Due to open in April Most ranges are undercover and equipped with purpose-built shooting benches and a wide variety of targets for all abilities.

• Free parking • Toilets onsite • Air tank filling service (24-hour turnaround) • Pellets and paper targets available to purchase We do have a selection of snacks and hot/cold drinks, available on the weekends. You are also more than welcome to bring your own food/drinks, and just 1.5 miles down the road is a service station with a McDonalds, Greggs, KFC and Starbucks if you wish to grab a bite or coffee on route to us, we just ask that you take all litter away with you. We also have a selection of paper targets, pellets and other sundries to purchase however it is cash only, no card facilities on site.

Services Offered

Airgun Setup (including zeroing) - £30 (Please contact the office to book in your air gun) Individual Air Rifle/ Air Pistol Training Lesson - 1 Hour 30 Mins - £40 (Please contact the office for a quotation for multiple people) Air Tank Refills (300 BAR Only) - Under 3L : £5, 4-6L : £6, 6.5-7L : £7.50, 8-12L+ : £10, Extra Surcharge of £2 if filled from empty. If you have not completed our induction, you will need to pay an additional £2 extra for tank refills. Tanks must be left for 24 hours

• Closed: Monday & Tuesday • Wednesday – Friday: 9am – 3pm • Late night Thursdays (in the spring & summer) • Saturday: 9am – 3pm (extended hours in the spring & summer) • Sunday: 9am – 1pm All visits must be pre-booked. Cash payments only (no card facilities)

We are based in Newbold, Coleorton, North West Leicestershire (LE65 1RS) with excellent access from: M1, M42 / A42, A50, A511, A444 Field Sport Airgun Range is a purpose-built air rifle range in Leicestershire, located in the National Forest near Coleorton and Ashby-de-la-Zouch. We provide airgun range hire for air rifles, air pistols, and airsoft guns, with covered shooting bays, a 90-yard zeroing range, and a woodland HFT course. Whether you are looking for an air rifle range near you, a place to zero your rifle, or a safe environment for regular shooting practice, our facility offers flexible, no-membership access for responsible shooters across the East Midlands, including Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Staffordshire.
