Range Safety

Finally, Some people see air rifles as toys. They come under the Firearms Act and are very much NOT toys. In the UK Between 2005 & 2020 there were thousands of injuries caused by air rifles and 25 fatalities, and every year, there are 2500 – 3000 air rifle offences recorded annually. Make sure you do not contribute to these statistics. You must carry your safety video card If you break the rules you will be asked to pay £10 to re watch the video again or you may be asked to leave and banned from returning. You can only have a maximum of 2 people to a lane with 1 gun, the extra person can be classed as a sharer, spectator, friend, family member, it's anyone who will be accompanying you. The extra person in your lane must now pay £ 10 to complete the safety induction; this will not need to be done again until next year. They must also now pay £3 whenever they accompany you. Our range fee will remain the same as it has since 2016, however next year, we may be implementing a different pricing structure This is a shooting ground, not a park, picnic or dog walking area, friends and family can not enter the facility, unless they are paying to use the facility, and we do not have any areas up the drive that people can walk in. For your safety, do not wander around any of our woodland. Keep everyone safe, follow all the rules, and if you are unsure, ASK!!
